Why Fatally Yours Chocolate Recipe Stands Out

    Fatally Yours Chocolate Recipe

Most traditional chocolates come in simple forms like a chocolate bar, chocolate truffles, or chopped chips.

But, this Fatally Yours Chocolate is made on a special occasion.

Therefore, It needs to be crafted with a beautiful design depending on the occasion, using high-quality cocoa powder, premium chocolate, etc., which makes it a perfect gift.

Fatally Yours Chocolates’ appearance, taste, and the way it is represented and given make them unique from other chocolates.

Basically, these chocolate boxes involve craftsmanship.

So even if you make it at home, you’ll have to craft it and decorate it.

You can even involve your kids in making it.

    Fatally Yours Chocolate Ingredients

    Fatally Yours Chocolate Ingredients

Here are all the ingredients that you will need to make a Fatally Yours Chocolate Recipe at home.

    • 200g high-quality dark chocolate (70% cocoa or higher): This is the backbone of the homemade fatally chocolate recipe. As it contains a high cocoa amount. You can use high-quality chocolate from a reputed brand like Lindt.
    • 100g milk chocolate (for a sweeter touch): You will need it to add creamy, mellow sweetness. Plus, it will make your dark chocolate intensity soft and give a rich, complex flavor.
    • One cup of heavy cream: Because it is high in fat, heavy cream lets the chocolate blend seamlessly, so it is essential for a smooth ganache.
    • 2 tablespoons of unsalted butter: You will need peanut butter for richness and a glossy finish. You can even use unsalted butter.
    • 1/4 cup cocoa powder (for dusting): It will be used for dusting.
    • 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract: It’s a secret ingredient that enhances the chocolate taste.
    • A pinch of sea salt (optional for garnish)
    • Half teaspoon Sugar: You can adjust sugar based on your taste, as white chocolate is already a little sweet.

    Optional Ingredients for decoration:

Although they’re optional, if you’re making chocolate to give to someone or for a special occasion, then I recommend you use them.

    • Edible gold leaf: For a luxurious look, you can buy a kind of Dubai-style strawberry chocolate.
    • Vegan white chocolate melted (for contrasting designs)
    • Dry fruits, nuts, or edible flowers (I really like crushed pistachios, so you can use it, or try almond, coconut, etc, but make sure they’re in powder form)
    • Natural food coloring for thematic designs

Step-by-Step Instructions to Make Fatally Yours Chocolate

Firstly, gather a double boiler (heatproof bowl, set over a pot of simmering water), silicone mold, and an airtight container in which you will store chocolates. Then follow this guide.

    1. Melt the Chocolate

You need to break dark and white chocolate into small pieces to melt them easily.

Then melt these pieces using a double boiler method in which you will keep a heatproof bowl over a simmering water pot.

Make sure you are stirring the chocolate when it is melting, and don’t overheat.

    2. Heat the Cream

Take a saucepan and heat heavy cream over medium heat.

When you start seeing tiny bubbles before boiling, stop heating them. (Don’t boil it).

    3. Combine Chocolate and Cream

Slowly pour the warm cream into the melted dark and white chocolate mixture and keep stirring it continuously until it becomes a fully smooth paste.

    4. Add Butter and Vanilla

Add butter, vanilla extract, and any optional ingredients like crushed pistachio powder and mix until they are fully melted and incorporated.

    5. Pour into Molds

    1. Prepare the Silicone Molds: Take silicone molds of your choice, but make sure they are clean and dry. Also, you can dust molds with cocoa powder for a professional touch.
    2. Fill the Molds Carefully: Then take a small and pour chocolate mixture into each mold. Make sure there is uniform thickness in every piece.
    3. Optional Garnish: After filling molds with this chocolate, you can sprinkle sea salt, edible gold leaf, etc., to finish. You should decorate chocolate, especially when you’re making it for a special event.

    6. Set the Chocolate

Once you have filled the molds, you have to keep them in a refrigerator for at least 2 hours or until the chocolate is fully set.

Next time, before removing it from the refrigerator, you need to test it.

You can touch the chocolate and feel if it gets tough or not. If it is perfectly firm, then it will be ready.

    Ingredient Substitutes

As I mentioned earlier, Fatally Yours Chocolate boxes are vegan.

So, if you want to customize your chocolate, like making a vegan or something else, here are a few of my ingredients substitute recommendations.

    • Heavy Cream: You can replace it with coconut milk cream. Although it has a slightly different taste, it is not too different.
    • Milk Chocolate: You can use white chocolate for a sweet and creamy taste, plus you can still have a vegan version of this chocolate. And by the way, not just white but vegan milk and dark chocolate are also available, so you can use them too.
    • Butter: You can use coconut oil for a vegan alternative.
    • Cocoa Powder: You can use carob powder as a caffeine-free option.

Note: Using these substitutes will slightly change the test and texture. For example, if you replace peanut butter with almond butter, you will have a nuttier flavor.

What to Serve With Fatally Yours Chocolate

You can serve fatally chocolate with these mentioned pairings to enhance your chocolate experience:

    Beverages:

Hot chocolate’s bitterness will complement chocolate’s sweetness, so you can pair that.

Besides this, red wine and spiced chai tea are also a good option. I haven’t tested wine, but yes, I did test chai, and it was good.

    Desserts:

You can dip chocolate pieces into smooth vanilla ice cream for a decadent taste. You can have strawberries and raspberries for a refreshing contrast.

You can also have salted caramel brownies for a refreshing contrast.

    Savory Pairings

You can serve cheeses like aged cheddar or brie for a sweet and savory taste.

And you can have spiced nuts or pretzels. Spiced Nuts will add texture.

How to Store and Gift Fatally Yours Chocolate

Keep your chocolate in an airtight container at room temperature. They will be safe for around 2 weeks.

But if you want to keep them safe for over a month, then keep them in a refrigerator.

And when you want to serve them again, keep the chocolate at room temperature for a few minutes. And then you can enjoy it.

    Gifting:

You will have to individually wrap homemade decorative chocolates in parchment paper and tie them with a ribbon for rustic, elegant guests.

Besides this, you can add a personalized note, or you can even print the recipe and gift it too, so the receiver can make these chocolates at home.

By the way, if you are gifting, don’t forget to decorate your chocolates, especially when gifting on a special occasion. You can sprinkle gold leaf or dust.

    Conclusion

You can also decorate it with gold leaf or dust or give it any of your favorite shapes using unique silicone molds.

So now roll up your sleeves, grab all the ingredients, and make your own Fatally chocolate at home.

By the way, don’t forget to share your creation in the comment section. If I like it, I may try it.

It takes around 2 hours to put Fatally chocolate in a refrigerator or 30 minutes in a freezer.

By the way, the proper setting time can also be a little longer or shorter, depending on the thickness of your chocolate.

Can I make this recipe vegan?

Yes, you can make this chocolate 100% vegan. You just have to substitute dairy-based ingredients with vegan alternatives.

For example, you can use dairy-free chocolate. Use coconut or vegan cream instead of heavy cream.

Swap unsalted butter with coconut oil. You may have a slightly different texture, but you will get vegan chocolate at home.

After that, you will take it out and stir it with a spoon, and then repeat this process. You will do it until you get a smooth chocolate paste.
