Cherry Vanilla Creamer Recipe

Sometimes plain creamers get boring, right? You’ll add it to coffee, but it won’t give a café-style vibe. So, you can make this Cherry Vanilla Creamer Recipe.

It is creamy, fruity, and has that vanilla sweetness which makes it feel like a Starbucks-style treat — but fresh and completely customizable.

This recipe is not made with condensed milk (a lot of creamers use that), so it will feel lighter,

And let me tell you, it works perfectly in hot coffee, iced coffee, or even when you want to make a Cherry Vanilla Latte Recipe right at home.

How to Make Cherry Vanilla Creamer

Cherry Vanilla Creamer is flavor Creamer made with real cherries and vanilla extract. It doesn’t include condensed milk, but even without it, it’s rich. This syrup can be used in any drink like tea, coffee, Latte, etc.

Ingredients

Here’s everything you will need. With this Ingredient quantity, you will get around 2 cups of creamer, enough for 6–8 servings. But if you drink coffee like me, maybe less.

  • 1 cup whole milk: This will give it a creamy body. You can use oat milk or almond milk if you want a vegan coffee creamer.
  • 1 cup heavy cream: The richness comes from here. You can also replace it with half-and-half for a lighter texture.
  • ½ cup cherries (fresh or frozen): You will need them pitted and chopped. Frozen is fine, I often use that.
  • 3–4 tbsp sugar: Adjust to your liking. I usually go for 3, but if you want it more café-sweet, use 4. Honey or maple syrup will also work.
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract: Can’t skip this. It will tie everything together. Pure vanilla works best.
  • Pinch of salt (optional) – Just to balance flavor.

Extra Option: If you want a stronger cherry taste, you should make a quick cherry vanilla syrup recipe. For this, you’ll have to boil cherries with sugar and water until thick, then you can add that to your creamer base.

Instructions

This is my process of making cherry vanilla creamer. It’s simple, but some small details will make it perfect.

Step 1: Cook the Cherries

You will need a saucepan, and in that, you will add chopped cherries with 2 tbsp sugar and 2 tbsp water. And heat that on medium.

In about 7 minutes, they will release juice and become soft. You have to smash them a bit with a spoon.

Tip: If your cherries stick to the pan, just add a splash of water. Don’t burn them.

Step 2: Strain

Now, strain that mixture using a fine mesh sieve. This step is very important for a smooth creamer.

Otherwise, pulp will float in your coffee (I personally don’t like that). You’ll get a nice syrup.

Step 3: Warm the Base

In another saucepan, you can add 1 cup milk + 1 cup cream.

Keep on low heat. But don’t let it boil; just warm enough.

After that, add a pinch of salt.

Step 4: Mix Cherry Syrup

Pour the cherry syrup into your milk and cream.

And you want to stir it until it becomes a little pinkish and smooth.

Step 5: Add Vanilla

Turn off the heat, and now add vanilla extract. And mix it well with a spoon.

And allow it to cool at room temperature.

Step 6: Cool & Store

Once you have cooled it, pour this creamer into a jar or a glass bottle.

Then, keep that in the fridge.

Next time, when you want to drink a shake before use, let it sit for a while, as the natural cherry flavor can settle.

That’s it. Your homemade cherry vanilla creamer recipe (without condensed milk) is done.

Ingredient Substitutes

If you don’t have any main ingredients available, you can try these alternatives.

  • Milk Substitute: Almond milk, oat milk, coconut milk, soy milk. Oat milk will give the best creamy texture.
  • Sugar Substitute: Honey, maple syrup, stevia, monk fruit. I sometimes use maple syrup when I want a little caramel note.
  • Vanilla: You can use vanilla bean paste if you want a gourmet touch.
  • Cream: Coconut cream works for dairy-free.
  • Extra Flavor: Add ½ tsp almond extract for a cherry-almond flavor.

If you want a healthy twist, you can even try pairing it with my Sugar Free Chocolate Pudding with Almond Milk recipe — both are creamy but light options.

Variations You’ll Love

I never keep one recipe fixed; I always like to twist it around. Here are my recommendations:

1. Vegan Cherry Vanilla Creamer

You’ll use oat milk + coconut cream.

Sweeten with maple syrup. And, add vanilla as usual. It will taste tropical, too.

2. Cherry Vanilla Almond Creamer

Add ½ tsp almond extract along with vanilla.

Trust me, it will taste like a cherry bakewell tart in your coffee.

3. Cherry Vanilla Matcha Latte

Make matcha as usual.

You will have to add 2 tbsp of this creamer. It will give a fruity taste along with earthy green tea.

4. Iced Cherry Vanilla Latte Recipe

Fill a glass with ice. Add 1–2 shots of espresso. Pour 3 tbsp of cherry vanilla creamer.

Stir and top with a little whipped cream if you want café style.

5. Cherry Vanilla Mocha

Mix cocoa powder in espresso, then top with this creamer. Chocolate + cherry + vanilla = heaven.

How to Use Cherry Vanilla Creamer

You’ll obviously use it in coffee, but let me give you more ways:

  • Classic Cherry Vanilla Latte, Starbucks style: You will add in hot espresso, and froth a little creamer on top.
  • Iced Coffee: Especially good in summer. You just have to add 2 tbsp to the chilled brew.
  • Cherry Vanilla Chai Latte: Add in hot chai for a fruity twist.
  • Desserts: Pour a little over vanilla ice cream or even pancakes.
  • Cherry Vanilla Milk Tea: Similar to bubble tea, just add a splash of black tea.

Best Foods to Enjoy with Cherry Vanilla Creamer Coffee

When you make a cherry vanilla latte or iced coffee, you’ll want something on the side. Here’s what I recommend:

Sweet Pairings

Savory Pairings

  • Croissants or buttered toast
  • Bagels with cream cheese
  • Cheese platter (salty-sweet contrast works so well)

Chocolate Pairings

If you want a lighter side, you can pair it with Easy Banana Bars Without Frosting, too.

Storage Instructions

This creamer will last about a week, so here is what you need to do.

  • Store in an airtight glass jar or bottle in the fridge.
  • It will stay in good condition for 6 to 7 days.
  • You should always shake before using because natural cherry syrup will settle down.
  • Not freezer friendly (cream splits).

Conclusion

This is my homemade Cherry Vanilla Creamer Recipe without condensed milk. It’s creamy, fruity, and gives that café-style taste right in your kitchen.

I really like how we can twist it into hot lattes, iced coffee, or even matcha and chai — one simple creamer but so many ways to use it.

The best thing is, you don’t need any fancy ingredients, just milk, cream, cherries, sugar, and vanilla.

Once you try it, you’ll not feel like going back to store-bought creamers again. So just make a jar, keep it in the fridge, and enjoy every morning.

FAQs About Cherry Vanilla Creamer Recipe

These are some important questions and answers about this recipe.

What are the ingredients in vanilla creamer?

Normally, vanilla creamer has milk, cream, sugar, and vanilla extract.

Some brands add condensed milk or oils. In this recipe, you will only need milk, cream, cherries, sugar, and vanilla extract — fresh and simple.

Can you mix cherries and coffee?

Yes, and it’s actually delicious. Coffee will give a bitter, bold taste, and cherries will give a sweet, fruity flavor.

So when both come together in a Cherry Vanilla Latte, it balances perfectly. That’s why this creamer works so well.

How do I make my own coffee creamer?

Just heat milk and cream together with sugar, then add your flavor.

For this one, you’ll make cherry syrup first, then mix with cream, add vanilla, and store. Once cooled, shake before using. That’s all.

How long does homemade cherry vanilla creamer last?

Keep in the fridge, in an airtight glass jar. It will stay good for 5–7 days.

Don’t freeze because dairy (Cream/Milk) will separate, and the texture won’t be nice.

Can I make cherry vanilla creamer without sugar?

Yes, you can. Use stevia, monk fruit, honey, or maple syrup instead. Each will give a slightly different taste, but still be nice.

What coffee drinks can I make with this creamer?
