Cherry Vanilla Creamer Recipe

This Cherry Vanilla Creamer is creamy, fruity, and has a sweet vanilla twist that makes any coffee taste café-style. It’s lighter than store-bought creamers and works perfectly in hot or iced drinks, even lattes.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup whole milk or almond/oat for dairy-free
  • 1 cup heavy cream or half-and-half for lighter texture
  • ½ cup cherries fresh or frozen, pitted & chopped
  • 3–4 tbsp sugar or honey/maple/stevia
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • Pinch of salt optional

For optional syrup:

  • 2 tbsp water + 2 tbsp sugar to cook cherries into a thicker syrup

Instructions
 

Cook Cherries

  • Add chopped cherries, 2 tbsp sugar, and 2 tbsp water to a saucepan.
  • Heat on medium for 7 minutes until soft and juicy.
  • Mash lightly with a spoon.

Strain

  • Strain the mixture through a fine mesh sieve to remove pulp.
  • You’ll get a smooth cherry syrup.

Warm the Base

  • In another saucepan, heat 1 cup milk + 1 cup cream on low.
  • Do not boil, just warm. Add a pinch of salt.

Mix Cherry Syrup

  • Stir the strained cherry syrup into the warm milk and cream.
  • It should turn slightly pink and smooth.

Add Vanilla

  • Remove from heat. Add 2 tsp vanilla extract and stir.

Cool & Store

  • Let cool at room temperature.
  • Pour into a jar or bottle, refrigerate for up to 7 days.
  • Shake before each use.

Notes

Swap sugar for maple syrup, stevia, or monk fruit.
Oat milk + coconut cream = vegan version.
