Strawberry White Chocolate Mocha Starbucks Style Recipe
This strawberry white chocolate mocha Starbucks-style recipe is creamy, fruity, and has a cozy dessert-in-a-cup vibe. It’s made with real strawberries and melted white chocolate.
Ingredients
Strawberry Purée (or Sauce):
- ½ cup chopped strawberries fresh or frozen
- 1 tbsp sugar or honey
- 1 tsp lemon juice
For the Mocha:
- ¼ cup white chocolate chips or bar, chopped
- ¼ cup milk to melt chocolate
- ¾ cup milk of choice for frothing
- 2 shots espresso or ½ cup strong brewed coffee
- 1½ tbsp strawberry purée
- ¼ tsp vanilla extract optional
Toppings (Optional):
- Whipped cream dairy or non-dairy
- Crushed freeze-dried strawberries
- White chocolate shavings
- Pink sprinkles
Instructions
Make the Strawberry Base:
- Cook ½ cup strawberries
- 1 tbsp sugar
- 1 tsp lemon juice on stove for 5–6 minutes.
- Mash into purée and set aside (you only need 1½ tbsp per drink).
Melt White Chocolate:
- In a saucepan over low heat
- Combine ¼ cup white chocolate chips
- ¼ cup milk.
- Stir until smooth.
- Add vanilla extract if using.
Brew Coffee:
- Prepare 2 shots espresso or use strong brewed coffee (or dissolve 1 tsp instant espresso powder in hot water).
Froth the Milk:
- Heat ¾ cup milk until warm (not boiling)
- Then froth using a whisk, milk frother, or blender.
Assemble the Drink:
- In a mug, add 1½ tbsp strawberry purée
- Pour in the melted chocolate mix, then the brewed coffee
- Top with frothed milk.
- Stir for swirled effect.
Add Toppings:
- Top with whipped cream, strawberry bits, or white chocolate shavings.
- Optional: pink sprinkles or edible rose petals for a fancy touch.
Notes
