Ingredients
  

Smoothie Base:

  • 1 frozen banana
  • 1 cup frozen strawberries
  • 1/2 cup blueberries
  • 1 tbsp almond butter or peanut butter/cashew butter
  • 1/2 –3/4 cup almond milk unsweetened, adjust to thickness
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 tbsp maple syrup or honey optional, for sweetness
  • Coconut Layer optional:
  • 1/4 cup coconut cream
  • 1 tbsp shredded coconut
  • 1 tsp chia seeds

Optional Boosters:

  • 1 scoop vanilla protein powder
  • 1 tsp maca powder
  • 1 tsp acai powder

Instructions
 

Prepare Fruit:

  • Peel, slice, and freeze your banana.
  • Chop strawberries before freezing for easier blending.
  • Using frozen fruit gives that thick Erewhon-style texture without ice cubes.

Make Coconut Layer (Optional):

  • Blend coconut cream, shredded coconut, and chia seeds into a thick creamy mix.
  • Spoon into the bottom of a serving glass for a layered look.
  • Chill while making the base.

Blend the Base:

  • In a blender, add banana, strawberries, blueberries, almond butter, vanilla, and almond milk.
  • Blend on low first, then high, scraping down sides as needed.

Check Consistency:

  • Erewhon smoothies are thick and spoonable.
  • If too thin, add extra frozen fruit or a couple of ice cubes.

Layer & Swirl:

  • Pour the smoothie base over the coconut layer.
