  • 2 large ripe bananas
  • ½ cup white sugar
  • ¼ cup brown sugar
  • cup vegetable oil
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • ½ tsp baking powder
  • ½ tsp baking soda
  • ¼ tsp salt

Optional:

  • ½ tsp cinnamon optional

Instructions
 

Step 1: Mash the Bananas

  • In a large bowl, mash 2 ripe bananas with a fork until smooth (no big chunks).
  • No need to blend.

Step 2: Add Wet Ingredients

  • Add ½ cup white sugar
  • ¼ cup brown sugar
  • ⅓ cup vegetable oil
  • 2 large eggs, and 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • Mix until smooth and combined.

Step 3: Add Dry Ingredients

  • Sprinkle 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • ½ tsp baking powder
  • ½ tsp baking soda
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • ½ tsp cinnamon (optional) on top.
  • Stir gently until no dry flour is visible—don’t overmix.

Step 4: Pour Into Pan

  • Grease or line a 10-inch pan with parchment paper.
  • Pour the batter into the pan and spread into a thin layer.

Step 5: Bake Banana Bars

  • Bake in a preheated oven at 350°F (175°C) for 20–25 minutes.
  • A toothpick should come out clean or with a few crumbs.

Step 6: Cool and Slice

  • Let the bars cool in the pan for 10 minutes before slicing and serving.

Notes
