  • 1 cup whole milk or oat/almond milk for dairy-free option

  • 1 tbsp chocolate syrup or melted chocolate chips
  • 2 tsp brown sugar optional, for caramel/molasses sweetness
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

DIY Cookie Dough Syrup (optional):

  • ½ cup brown sugar
  • ½ cup water
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • ½ tsp butter extract
  • 2 tbsp chocolate chips optional

Instructions

Brew the Coffee

  • Make 2 shots of espresso or ½ cup strong brewed coffee.
  • For the authentic Dunkin taste, use Dunkin’ Donuts coffee grounds.

Mix Flavors

  • In a mug, stir together cookie dough syrup, chocolate syrup, and vanilla until smooth.

Add Coffee

  • Pour the hot espresso/coffee over the syrup mixture and stir again.

Froth the Milk

  • Heat and froth milk (or keep cold for an iced version).
  • Froth with a frother, whisk, or shake in a jar.

Combine

  • Add the frothed milk into your coffee mixture.
  • For iced latte, fill a glass with ice first, then pour in coffee + milk.

Top and Garnish

  • Finish with whipped cream, drizzle chocolate, and sprinkle mini chocolate chips or cookie crumbles.
  • Enjoy café-style Dunkin’ cookie dough vibes at home!

Notes

  • Hot Latte: Skip the ice, use steamed frothed milk, and add a dash of cinnamon on top for a cozy bakery vibe.
  • Iced Latte: Serve over ice and top with cold foam for a Starbucks-style layered look.
  • Make the cookie dough syrup ahead and store in the fridge up to 1 week — morning prep becomes instant.
  • For the most authentic Dunkin' flavor, brew with Dunkin' Donuts coffee grounds as your espresso base.
  • Don't skip the brown sugar — it adds the molasses depth that makes the drink taste like real cookie dough.
