Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups whole milk or 2% / oat milk for dairy-free
  • 1 cup evaporated milk
  • ½ cup sweetened condensed milk
  • ½ cup semi-sweet or dark chocolate chips Lindt or Ghirardelli recommended
  • 2 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 2 tablespoons granulated sugar optional, adjust to taste
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Pinch of salt

Optional Toppings:

  • Whipped cream
  • Marshmallows
  • Chocolate shavings
  • Caramel drizzle
  • Cinnamon powder

Instructions
 

Heat the Milk:

  • Add whole milk and evaporated milk to a saucepan.
  • Heat on medium, stirring occasionally.

Add Condensed Milk:

  • Whisk in sweetened condensed milk until fully dissolved.

Mix Cocoa & Sugar:

  • Add cocoa powder and sugar, whisk until smooth with no lumps.

Melt Chocolate Chips:

  • Stir in chocolate chips over low heat until melted and creamy.

Add Flavorings:

  • Mix in vanilla extract and a pinch of salt.

Serve:

  • Pour into mugs and top with whipped cream, marshmallows, or caramel drizzle.

Notes

  • For dairy-free: use oat, almond, or coconut milk.
  • Substitute heavy cream for evaporated milk for an even richer version.
