Fill a small saucepan with water but ensure it does not touch the bottom of the heatproof bowl.
Place the bowl on the saucepan and add broken chocolate pieces.
Stir constantly until melted, then add coconut oil for a glossy finish.
Microwave Method:
Place chocolate pieces in a microwave-safe bowl.
Heat in 20-30 second intervals, stirring between each round, until smooth.
Add coconut oil and stir to combine.
Dip the Pretzel Rods
Hold each pretzel rod at one end and dip about two-thirds into the melted chocolate.
Tap gently against the bowl to remove excess chocolate.
Add Toppings (Optional)
While the chocolate is still wet, add toppings like sprinkles, nuts, crushed candy, or sea salt.
Let the Chocolate Set
Place dipped pretzels back on the parchment-lined sheet.
Let them cool at room temperature for 30-60 minutes, or refrigerate for 10-15 minutes if the room is warm.
