Ingredients
  

  • cups fresh lemon juice about 7–8 large Sunkist or Meyer lemons
  • 1 cup cane sugar adjust for sweetness
  • 5 cups cold filtered water divided
  • Ice cubes for serving
  • Lemon slices for garnish, optional

Instructions
 

Roll & Juice Lemons:

  • Roll each lemon before cutting to soften the pulp, then juice using a manual press.
  • Lightly strain if desired, but keep a little pulp for natural texture.

Dissolve the Sugar:

  • In a large pitcher, combine 3 cups cold water with sugar.
  • Stir for 1–2 minutes until completely dissolved.

Add Lemon Juice:

  • Pour fresh lemon juice into the sugar water and stir gently to combine.

Add Remaining Water:

  • Add the last 2 cups of cold water and mix again.

Serve Cold:

  • Pour over ice, garnish with lemon slices, and enjoy immediately.

Notes

  • Use real Sunkist or Meyer lemons for authentic sweetness and aroma.
  • Always dissolve sugar first before adding lemon juice — it ensures smooth texture.
