1 cup or 240 ml cold milk (whole milk preferred for richness, or 2% for lighter) 2 tablespoons or 30 ml Autocrat Coffee Syrup (adjust to taste) Ice cubes optional, for chilled version Whipped cream or cocoa/coffee powder optional garnish
Always use very cold milk — the crisp chill is what makes this drink refreshing instead of cloying.
Stir thoroughly. The syrup is thick and viscous; lift from the bottom until no dark streaks remain.
Start with 2 tablespoons of syrup and adjust. It's much easier to add more than to fix an over-sweet glass.
If using plant-based milk (oat, almond, soy), use unsweetened varieties — the syrup provides all the sweetness needed.
Serve immediately after mixing. If left too long, the syrup can settle to the bottom again.
