Hi, I’m Abraham — the recipe developer, food experimenter, and creative cook behind Cook for Foodies.
I’m a self-taught home cook with a deep passion for good food, unusual flavor combinations, and I turn ordinary ingredients into something special.
My recipes are all about comfort and creativity — whether it’s a cozy dessert, a healthier twist on a chocolate treat, or a drink inspired by your favorite café.
You’ll find everything from rich puddings to low-calorie lattes on this blog.
I don’t just follow trends — I like to explore flavor in my own way, test everything in my kitchen, and share only what I love.
My Cooking Journey
My cooking journey started back in 2018, when I first began experimenting in the kitchen.
But it was really during the 2019 pandemic that things shifted.
Like many people, I was stuck at home — and for me, that time became an opportunity to slow down and try new things.
Cooking quickly became more than a hobby. It became a passion.
I launched Cook for Foodies in February 2025, with the goal of sharing easy, accessible, and exciting recipes that feel both familiar and new.
Every recipe I post is tested in my own kitchen, often more than once to make sure it works.
I sometimes ask my mom to taste or help me measure ingredients, especially for traditional or tricky recipes — because food is always better when shared with family.
My goal is simple: create food that tastes great, looks inviting, and is simple enough that anyone can try it.
I love exploring combinations that are unexpected (like white chocolate in savory meals!) and improving classic recipes in my own style.
Whether I make something richer, healthier, or faster, I always try to keep it fun.
What You’ll Find in My Recipes
Here on Cook for Foodies, I focus on categories I personally enjoy and feel confident sharing:
- Chocolate Recipes — rich, smooth, and sometimes secretly healthy
- Healthy Twists on Desserts — including low-calorie and high-protein versions
- Creative Beverages — think coffee drinks, lattes, and hot chocolate with a twist
- Quick Bites & No-Bake Recipes — for days when time is short but cravings are real
- Unique Savory Dishes — like white chocolate Alfredo and other surprises
I keep my recipes clear and beginner-friendly, using ingredients that most people already have or can easily find.
I want home cooks to feel confident from the first step to the final bite.
Here are some of my favorite creations:
- Anti-Inflammatory Hot Chocolate
- Bakery-Style Oatmeal Chocolate Chip Muffins
- Keto Chocolate Pudding with Coconut Milk
- 3-Ingredient Avocado Chocolate Pudding
- Low-Calorie White Chocolate Mocha
- Strawberry Banana Chocolate Protein Smoothie
Every dish I post is one I genuinely enjoy and believe my readers will too.
Beyond the Kitchen
Outside of cooking, I’ve always had a creative side.
Since childhood, I’ve been passionate about drawing and sketching.
I was even the best artist in my class in 1st grade — something I still look back on with pride.
Over the years, I’ve explored many interests:
- Playing cricket with friends — my favorite childhood sport
- Cycling, mountain biking, and sprinting — I ranked 1st out of 300+ students in a school competition in 2018
- Fitness & Gym — I’ve been going to the gym since 2019 and love sharing fitness and diet advice with friends who want to lose weight or stay healthy
- Reading books — I enjoy learning about self-improvement, history, politics, war, science, and animals
- I’m planning to read Atomic Habits soon and recently explored Rich Dad Poor Dad
My love for wellness also inspires many of the recipes I create — especially ones designed for weight loss, muscle recovery, or maintaining a balanced diet.
Example: High Protein Chocolate Chia Seeds Pudding without Protein Powder or Yogurt
In fact, one day I’d love to launch a second blog dedicated to healthy, low-carb, high-protein recipes for people on a fitness journey.
I already have ideas lined up and can’t wait to make it happen.
